There are two types of HFCT, the HFCT-20HD^TM and HFCT-60HD^TM. Those are high frequency current transformer sensors designed for partial discharge detection on electric apparatus’ ground returns. The HFCT^TM clamps are intended to be used with the AE-150^TM for partial discharge localization, or with the XDP-II^TM for quick partial discharge detection and analysis.

- Measurement on power cable shields.

- Measurement on ground connections:

          o   Lightning arresters.

          o   Current and Voltage Transformer.

          o   High power motors, alternators, and power transformers.
