PW366Ai Protection Relay Test Set

Description

PW366Ai (12×20A, 4×300V, 8 fiber optic ports) is the new generation of PW series relay test set which can be used both as a conventional relay test set and IEC61850 testing tools. It is capable of automatically testing various kinds of protection relays, such as distance, overcurrent, frequency, directional, time inversed, differential relay easily without changing cable connection. Other test works, such as transducer, energy meter, indication meter, etc., can also be done easily. It is the ideal test device for all power utilities, power plants, relay manufacturers, panel manufacturers, research institutes, universities, testing companies, etc.

Features

- Equipped with 12 current output channels and 4 voltage output channels, high power output for different kinds of relay testing and stable signal output with high accuracy.

- 10 binary inputs, 8 binary outputs, 2 counters, 12 low level outputs.

- Adjustable threshold (0~±600VDC) for binary inputs or potential free.

- Auxiliary DC power supply (0~300V).

- Equipped with 8 fiber optic ports for testing different digital relays. It integrates full IEC61850/IEC61869 functions, supporting digital quantities including SV (IEC61850-9-2, IEC61869-9) sending and receiving, as well as GOOSE publishing and subscription.

- Analog quantities and digital quantities support simultaneous output, and binary input signals can be received while GOOSE subscription is in progress.

- Built-in GPS, supporting IRIG-B and IEEE1588(PTP) Synchronization.

- Support importing characteristic cureve via RIO, XRIO, CSV files into relay templates and associate the setting values with the test templates.

- Multiple free relay templates are provided for automatic testing.

- MU steady-state test, transient test, time synchronize test and keep time check are available.

- Modular structure design with only 6 modules, disassembling and assembling work can be completed easily.

Applications

PW366Ai not only has current and voltage outputs for various conventional relay tests but also has 8 switchable optical fiber/Ethernet ports to support digital relay protection tests based on IEC61850 /IEC61869. It supports analog output, binary input and output, SMV sending and receiving and GOOSE publish and subscription.

It can simulate abnormal SMV messages (e.g., frame loss, flying point, jitter, sequence number misordering, delay deviation, delay variation, serial number deviation, abnormal quality) and abnormal GOOSE messages, and provide flexibility to configure both SV&GOOSE ports independently.
